The McDevitt family of New England, whose name has become synonymous with "heavy duty trucks" is celebrating over a third of a century of service to the transportation industry.
McDevitt Trucks is recognized as the largest heavy-duty truck dealer in the Northeast. In addition, the Manchester based firm is continuously ranked as one of the top 15 privately owned companies in the Granite State.
Started by Jack McDevitt, Sr. in 1974 as a Mack Truck distributorship, the company has grown to 4 locations in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and now represents Mack, Volvo, Peterbilt, Western Star, Sterling and Isuzu trucks. The territories now cover all of New Hampshire, Eastern Massachusetts and half of Vermont. In classes 4 through 8 we can accommodate all truck applications!
Representing 6 major truck OEM's ensures a steady supply of quality class 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 used truck trade-ins. The McDevitt Used Truck Center always has a great selection of used dump trucks, tractors and straight trucks in stock ready to go to work.
In New England, McDevitt Trucks is the industry leader. Our heavy-duty truck expertise has lead to what has become known as the "McDevitt Spec" truck. These are dump trucks, and heavy tractors built to excel on New England's roads and changeable weather conditions.
